Ottawa Bike Commuters
Watching the bike commuters whiz by the window of my bed & breakfast this morning was a lot of fun. There is such a great variety of bikes - old & new, racing bikes & European city bikes. I love the bike vibe in this town. Last time I was in Ottawa I saw at least a hundred bike commuters as I drove around the city. I'm looking forward to getting back to Calgary and riding my bike to work. Unlike Ottawa though if I see a couple bikes on my commute I would be quite happy!Sunday, March 25, 2007

L&K's Movie Palace
Although I did break ground by getting a LCD projector and watching movies on my apartment wall, Laura & Kurt took it to the next level. Not only did they get an awesome projector [same as mine *pat* *pat* *pat*], but they actually have chairs to sit on and a beverage fridge close at hand. Add in some popcorn and its like being at the IMAX without all the annoying people.Good work L&K you rocked it!

Seduced by the Darkside of the Force...
I haven't really played a video game in years. I do have an XBOX that I use as a DVD player to watch movies, but I was even thinking of getting rid of it recently when I realized how long its been since I had done any gaming on it. Then Jeff came for a visit with his XBOX 360 and let me play Lego Star Wars II. Its a kids game so naturally it was at the limit of my gaming skils. Usually I am too uncoordinated to do any good at a video game, but this one is right up my alley - childish, easy and its Star Wars!!!If you have trouble reaching me for the next few days - sorry, but I've got a Republic that needs saving!
